In addition to good academic performance, it is equally essential that students should develop expertise in soft skills, like oral and written communication, leadership quality, sense of cooperation etc. These skills are developed through conducting co and extra-curricular activities regularly. |

The college, therefore, aims at to promote co & extra-curricular activities, like games & sports, cultural, fine arts, literary and professional activities needed for overall personality development of students. The following two counsels have been formed : |

All the students are required to join both councils Each council is managed by an Executive committee, consisting of convener, faculty members and student representatives. Students are encouraged to participate in cultural and sports meets arranged at other colleges, institutions. Besides, co-curricular activities, like debate, group discussion, G.K. tests, essay and review paper writing, professional talks by the eminent experts are arranged at department levels. It is planned to establish student chapters of professional bodies, such as, IEEE, Computer Society of India, IETE etc. in due course of time. 60 percent of general proficiency marks are awarded to B.Tech. students on the basis of their performance in co & extra-curricular activities. |

| Human Value Cell |

To inculcate professional ethics and a spirit of social service among students, a Human Value Cell is established in the college following guidelines of the University. The overall objective of the cell is to develop subjective personality of students. The Cell is governed by an Executive Body consisting of Director as the chairman and a group of faculty and students as the executive members. The general membership is open to all students. |

| Alumni Association |
|
The Alumni Association is being formed in the college to maintain record of all the passing out students and to maintain liaison with them to seek their valuable suggestions for future development of the college. The Alumni meet will be arranged every year to share their experiences and to invite valueable suggestions. |
