A student admitted to the college is not automatically entitled to be resident of the hostel. |

Application for admission to the hostel must be made in the prescribed form with four passport size photographs. Admission is subject to the approval of the competent authority. |

Renewal of admission to hostel is not automatic students desirous to reside in the hostel are required to apply every year a fresh. |

Before admission, a student has to pay hostel fee, mess charges, establishment charges prevailing at that time. |

Students shall occupy only those rooms allotted to them. Students are not allowed to interchange room without written permission of the warden. |

Students are not allowed to use electric appliances such as heater, toaster, electric iron, coolers or immersion. |

Students shall check furniture and other articles issued to them and electrical fittings in the allotted room and sign an inventory of items before taking over charge of the room. They will have to pay the cost of damage/shortage, if any, at the end of the session. Outgoing students are not allowed to leave hostel without handing over charge of the room to the warden. |

Willful damage to hostel property shall be treated an act of indiscipline which will be dealt with a fine and penalty and such other punishment as the warden may decide. At the end of the session, residents shall surrender their rooms and shall not keep his /her belongings. However, the residents may be allowed to keep his/her belonging in a common cloak room specified for the purpose. |

Transfer of furniture from one room to another is not permitted. |

Guests are not allowed to stay in the hostel. |

Gambling and use of liquor and intoxicants are strictly prohibited. |

Students are not permitted to keep any fire arm (even licensed). |

Pasting any objectionable poster or paintings on the walls of the rooms or in hostel premises is strictly prohibited. |

Formation of society /club or hold any meeting is not permitted without permission of the warded/Dean of student welfare. |
| 15. |
Any act, which may cause disturbance to inmates in the hostel, shall be considered an act of indiscipline and will be viewed seriously. |

Unauthorized stay in hostel is strictly prohibited. The unauthorized occupants and residents who allow their rooms to be used illegally shall be liable for disciplinary action. |
