Students Welfare

Scholarship & Financial Aid:
1.
The college awards scholarships to meritorious students. Incentives are given to attract meritorious students to take admission in any programme of the college.
2.
The colleges also help SC/ST and OBC students to get their scholarships timely from respective agencies.
3.
The colleges also help students to get scholarships from various agencies who award scholarships to meritorious and economically weaker students.
4.
The college provides adequate assistance to students for taking loans from any bank of students choice.
Counseling of students:
1.
Counseling of all students is done regularly to familiarize them about the examination system to seek their personal problems and suggest remedies and to motivate and inspire them to excel in the engineering/management profession.
2. One faculty member is nominated as a counselor for a batch of 20 students.
3.
Class representatives are nominated and meetings of the class representatives with Director and HODs are held at the regular intervals.
Railway concession:
1.
Railway concession facility is admissible to all the students of the college. The railway concession order are issued by the office of registrar for to and fro journey to their home towns in vacations, educational tour and vocational training. For this purpose 'Home Town' is defined as the native place where the parents, or if the parents are not alive, the guardian of the students normally reside and which is mentioned in the Identity Card.
2.
A change of address is usually not permitted after issue of the Identity Card, except in special circumstances, such as transfer of parent/guardian in service. The railway concession for going to home town is issued normally once in a semester.
3.
To obtain railway concession, the desirous student should apply on a prescribed application form at least one week in advance. The railway concession form is issued to the student on presenting the Identity Card in person.
4.
An improper use of railway concession orders may debar the student from the railway concession facility and invite disciplinary action apart from any action which the railway authorities may deem fit.
5.
Student is required to show the Identity Card for verification by the Station Master or by the railway authorities during the journey.
