Institute Industry Interface Centre

Appreciating the paramount significance and unparalleled contributions of the industry-institute dyadic interactions, SCBM has been giving top priority to more lively and meaningful linkages with a myriad of industrial houses.

To keep its entities abreast of the latest changes in the industrial world, a professional Institute should have close linkages with the real business world. Based on this premise, the Surya Group of Institutions makes concerted endeavours towards organising institute-industry interfaces at different levels.

Accordingly, the Institute has established a full-fledged and well-equipped Industry Interface Centre which provides active support to the students of various courses in getting quality summer as well as final placements. Training and Placement Cell of the Institute is involved in the following functions and is endowed with the following distinctive features:

	Hosting Interface sessions with representatives of business organisations at different metros.
	Visiting various corporate houses of the country for creating industry-academia linkages.
	Making it convenient for top executives and business magnets to visit campus and interact with the students.
	Conducting Mock Interviews and Group Discussions for students under the able guidance of experts to prepare them for the Corporate world.
	Organising Management Conclave to bring top honchos of Corporate world on one platform.
	Arranging Summer Training for the students to have a feel of the Corporate world.
	Organising Seminars and Conferences.
	Sending students on live projects for practical exposure as a part of their curriculum.
	Organizing regular Industrial visits for the students.
	Conducting Personality Development Programmes (PDP) for the students

Seminars, Conferences, Executive Development Programmes

Seminars and Conferences on key problem areas feature regularly in the academic calendar of the Institute. The objective is to provide a platform where the students and faculty members could interact with the highly experienced professionals and academicians. In this endeavour SCBM continuously organises seminars and conferences at various locations in the country.

In addition to class-room teaching, the Institute also organises a year-long guest lecture series to give the students a glimpse of the real corporate practices. In this series, working executives from organisations of repute like JCB India Ltd., Wipro Spectramind, TATA Chemicals, Reliance Infocomm, Dalmia Healthcare, SRF India Ltd., Flex Industries, Polar Industries Ltd., etc. have been invited to interact with the students on the topics of thematic importance.
