Admission Criteria
Eligibility Requirements
B.Tech.
(a)
Admission to First year
A candidate must have passed intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board /University with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subject and any one of the Chemistry, Computer Science, Biology and Biotechnology subjects.
For admission to B. Tech first year, up to the extent of 10% seats may be filled from the candidates passed qualifying examination from board /university located outside U.P. and recognized by concerned board/university of U.P.
(b)
Admission to Second Year (Lateral Entry)
A candidate must have passed three years engineering diploma for admission to any branch of Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
A candidate must have passed B.Sc. degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects from any recognized University securing minimum 60% marks in aggregate.
MBA
A candidate must have passed three years degree course from any recognized university with 50% marks in aggregate.
Mode of Admission
(a)
85% Seats are filled through the counseling conducted by U.P. Technical University based on merit of State Entrance Examination (SEE) with following conditions:
A candidate either must have passed qualifying examination from any board/university located in U.P. or outside from U.P. recognized by the concerned board/University of U.P. and whose parents (Father/Mother) are domicile of U.P.
(b)
15% seats of NRI /management quota and seats falling vacant after counseling are filled at the college level in the following order:
(i)
Firstly by relative merit of SEE-2010.
(ii)
Relative merit of valid CAT/MAT after CAT for MBA only.
(iii)
Thirdly, relative merit of qualifying examination with additional requirement of 50% aggregate in two compulsory and one optional subjects for B.Tech and 50% aggregate for MBA.
